Meet Jo
The Real Life Of Jo

Picture

I Am
Joniece Romeo

But you can call me Jo!

From broken to blessed — and I’m bringing y’all along for the ride.

Hey y’all — I’m Jo, but most people know me as @Jobaybeejo. If you’ve been rocking with me from the beginning, you already know The Real Life of Jo is way bigger than just a show — it’s the next chapter in my whole story.

Before the cameras and the interviews, I was the woman behind the books — The Hidden Goddess With A Twisted Mind — pouring my pain, my healing, my bad decisions, and my breakthroughs into every page. I was broken, hurt, drinking, and just trying to survive my own story.

But even in my darkest moments, music saved me. That’s how The Real Life of Jo was born — I was at my lowest, so I hit record and started discovering new music to heal to, rap to, cook to, and glow up to. What started as my personal escape became a whole platform — where music, culture, real-life convos, and healing all meet.

Today, I’m in love, building my home, cooking my way through soft life, and still discovering the soundtrack to my story — but now I’m sharing the mic with artists, entrepreneurs, and everyday people who’ve got a story of their own.

When I’m not in front of the mic, I’m:
• Curating my personal playlist for the next chapter
• Learning new recipes (because the kitchen is my happy place now)
• Building my soft life — home project at a time
• Growing into the woman I always knew I could be

So whether you’re here for the music, the mess, the healing, or just to see how this story unfolds — welcome to The Real Life of Jo. This ain’t a show.
This is my real life.

Follow my journey:
Instagram is where I keep it the realest - tap in with me daily @Jobaybeejo for unfiltered stories, music reviews, behind-the-scenes vibes, and all the tea.

You can also catch me on:

And let me make one thing clear:

The goddess is no longer hidden — and this mind?
Still twisted,
just way more powerful.

I love the realness of some poems and reading them in your voice and feeling like you have cut your heart open and laid it out for the world to see. But then there's a nice contrast when the poems switch to happy topics -- They sound almost whimiscal and I can feel how you felt when writing them

I love your book. Your book is something I'm able to pick up from time to time to give me a reminder, or even a bit of hope. Your book actually helped me when I was in the hospital. Through the struggles and fighting the demons inside me, it was a little bit of hope that I was able to hold on to to helpme get through the days. Your book touched me in a way that you wouldn't of belived. As much as I suffered through the roller coaster & heartches, it picked me up and helped me along the way to get back up. Your book is raw and so real. Somthing everyone can relate to. Wish upon a star, hunan, & unknown are my go to's. Keep on writing and on Inspiring.

I did enjoy the book. The subject matter of some of the poems was powerful and intense. I could feel your pain in a few passages. There were a couple poems that I felt weren't quote painting the imagery that you were intending. Primarily in that there were a couple of lines or words could have been left out.

"Unknown" is my all time favorite because it's so raw and it's exactly how I am feeling currently. I can relate to your poems so much! "The Nigh" is absolutely beautiful. The description of the thunder and lightning was spot on and I felt like I was outside just feeling everything. My favorite was the description of the flowers, they reminded me of beauty and hope as they were "demolishing the toxins of deadly fumes"

I don't piece apart literature too much.  I really like it though. Very descriptive.  I love that you get a hint of the emotion while keeping the cause anonymous a bit. You can tell you understand the human condition as well as human desire. Something a lot of us overlook.

The poem "I Love You" brings all the feelings I have with my current girlfriend and I just feel content with the same feelings that I have a hard time describing. I would recommend to the future readers is that you get a glimpse of an insight of someone who are going through the valley and mountains.. you experience the highs and lows of you.

.So up front, it was't my preferred reading. Almost anything I read is fantasy fiction...Elves, vampires, dragons, etc. That being said, i thought it was very good. It was vert well written and you could feel the emotion behind the words.
