In Season 8, Episode 8 of The Real Life of Jo, we dove into Heartbreakk Rebel’s music, and let’s just keep it 100% real—it was mid. Not bad, not great, just… meh.

Music Review: Heartbreakk Rebel’s 3 Tracks 🎤1. “Tandem”I got the title mixed up at first, but once I locked in, I was like… That’s it? The beat was okay, the flow was decent, but nothing about it stuck like grits. It’s one of those songs that plays in the background, and you forget it was even on. 😬

2. “JustUhThought”This track had potential, but the energy felt flat. It’s the type of song that you’d skip halfway through unless you’re really in your feelings and need background noise.

3. “No Rec”I was hoping this one would pick up the pace, but… same vibe, different beat. It didn’t hit hard, didn’t grab my attention, and definitely didn’t give “add to playlist” energy.

BONUS: "Rebel Vs Krakz Pt. 2"Now, this one had a little more energy, but it still didn’t stick. It felt like bars for the sake of bars, without a memorable hook or moment to pull you back in.

Final Thoughts: Mid, Not Memorable 🤷🏽‍♀️Look, I’m all for supporting artists, and Heartbreakk Rebel clearly has passion—but right now, the music just isn’t sticking. It’s background noise, not center stage. Hopefully, he finds his sound and comes back with something that really hits.
