Seven years ago, I uploaded my very first YouTube video. I had no clear direction, no solid plan—just a camera, a desire to create, and a love for books. At the time, I didn’t fully know where I wanted to take my channel, but I knew one thing for certain: I wanted a platform where I could share my passions and connect with people.
Back then, I was just experimenting—talking about books, sharing thoughts, and trying to figure out my voice. Looking back, that first video feels like a distant memory, a raw and unpolished version of the creator I’ve become today. But it was an important step, a beginning that led me to something much greater than I could have imagined.
Fast forward to now, and The Real Life of Jo has evolved into a full-fledged platform showcasing music artists, entrepreneurs, and real stories. It’s no longer just about finding my voice—it’s about amplifying the voices of others, telling stories that matter, and building a space where authenticity thrives.
The journey hasn’t been perfect, but it’s been real, and that’s what makes it so special. From that very first upload to where the show is today, I’ve learned that growth comes from starting—even when you don’t have it all figured out.
