Allow me to re-correct myself! 😂 In Season 8, Episode 8 of The Real Life of Jo, we dove into Heartbreakk Rebel’s music, and let’s just keep it 100% real—it was mid. Not bad, not great, just… meh. Music Review: Heartbreakk Rebel’s 3 Tracks 🎤1. “Tandem”I got the title mixed up at first, but once I locked in, I was like… That’s it? The beat was okay, the flow was decent, but nothing about it stuck like grits. It’s one of those songs that plays in the background, and you forget it was even on. 😬 2. “JustUhThought”This track had potential, but the energy felt flat. It’s the type of song that you’d skip halfway through unless you’re really in your feelings and need background noise. 🎧 Listen here: Heartbreakk 2.0 - JustUhThought 3. “No Rec”I was hoping this one would pick up the pace, but… same vibe, different beat. It didn’t hit hard, didn’t grab my attention, and definitely didn’t give “add to playlist” energy. 🎥 Watch the video: No Rec (Official Video) BONUS: "Rebel Vs Krakz Pt. 2"Now, this one had a little more energy, but it still didn’t stick. It felt like bars for the sake of bars, without a memorable hook or moment to pull you back in. 🎬 Check it out: Rebel Vs Krakz Pt. 2 Final Thoughts: Mid, Not Memorable 🤷🏽♀️Look, I’m all for supporting artists, and Heartbreakk Rebel clearly has passion—but right now, the music just isn’t sticking. It’s background noise, not center stage. Hopefully, he finds his sound and comes back with something that really hits. 📸 Follow Heartbreakk Rebel: 👉 Instagram 📺 Watch Season 8 of The Real Life of Jo – Check out the playlist Did I miss something? Maybe this just wasn’t my vibe, but I’m curious--did any of these songs stick for you? Drop a comment and let’s talk about it! 👇🎶🔥 Whew… this one’s tough, y’all. In Season 8, Episode 7 of The Real Life of Jo, we’re diving into "Right Now (Remix)" by Alley featuring Young Chris the Artist—and let’s just say… Gorilla Zoe couldn’t save this one. 😬 Now, don’t get me wrong—I always keep it real but respectful. And after listening to this track, I couldn’t help but feel like Young Chris the Artist is still searching for his sound. Music Review: “Right Now (Remix)” 🎤From the start, the production was okay, but the song itself? It just didn’t hit. The flow felt off, the energy wasn’t consistent, and lyrically, it lacked that punch I was hoping for. And here’s the thing--Young Chris the Artist personally knows celebrities. He’s connected, he’s been around talent, but clout doesn’t make a hit. You still gotta find your voice, hone your craft, and own your sound. I’m not saying he can’t get there—because he absolutely can. I think it’s just a matter of self-discovery and staying true to his artistry, rather than chasing what sounds trendy. Tap in with Young Chris the Artist 🎶If you’re curious to hear the track for yourself (because, hey--your taste might differ from mine), check it out here: 🎵 Listen to “Right Now (Remix)” 👉 Right Now (Remix) 📸 Follow Young Chris the Artist: 👉 Instagram Final Thoughts: Potential, But Needs Direction 💭Look, I’m rooting for Young Chris the Artist. He’s got the connections, and the passion is there—but success in music comes from more than who you know. 📺 Watch Season 8 of The Real Life of Jo – Check out the playlist What do y’all think? Is this a case of untapped potential, or is it time for a full rebrand? Let me know in the comments! 👇🔥🎶 |
