And just like that, Season 3 of The Real Life of Jo is a wrap! 🎬
This season was all about finding my grounding, learning how to edit videos, and figuring out how to collect music from artists. I’ll be real—there were some rough moments, but growth is messy, and we made it through! For the final episode of the season, I reviewed TJ Kills and his track “NASCAR”—and let’s just say, I was feeling the need for speed. 🏁 The Review: TJ Kills – “NASCAR”I had my funny moment (or so I thought) with my little “zoom” joke during the review, but apparently, y’all weren’t feeling it. Really? Nothing? Not even a little chuckle? Tough crowd. 😂 But anyway, TJ Kills came through with that high-energy, fast-paced sound that matches the title perfectly. Whether you’re into fast flows or just looking for something to turn up to, this one’s worth a listen. 🎵 Check out more from TJ Kills here: 👉 Listen to “NASCAR” Final Thoughts on Season 3Looking back, Season 3 was a learning process—from figuring out my editing style to curating music and making sure every episode had its own energy. It wasn’t perfect, but it was real, and that’s what The Real Life of Jo is all about. Now, it’s on to bigger and better things. If you’ve been rocking with me since Season 3, thank you—and if you’re just catching up, welcome to the journey! 📺 Watch Season 7 of The Real Life of Jo – Check out the playlist What was your favorite moment from Season 3? Alright, y’all, we’re back with another music review this week, and let’s just say… this one had me feeling a type of way. 🤔
We checked out "Be Your King" by TRAGYK featuring Elbie Smoove & J Bomber, and I gotta keep it real--I didn’t like it much. Now, y’all know I always give artists a fair shot, but sometimes a song just doesn’t hit the way it’s supposed to. So, the real question is: Would this song make you throw the cat or chuck the deuces? 😂 Breaking Down “Be Your King”Look, I respect artistry and creativity, but something about this one just didn’t sit right with me. Maybe it was the production, the flow, or the overall vibe, but it didn’t give me that energy I needed. Not every song is for everybody, though, so that’s why I need y’all to tap in and let me know what YOU think. Listen for Yourself: SLEEZY NATION🎵 Check out more from the crew here: 👉 SLEEZY NATION YouTube Final Verdict: Y’all Decide! At the end of the day, music is hella subjective, and what doesn’t work for me might be a banger for somebody else. So, what’s the vibe? 🔥 Would you bump this in the car or skip it after 10 seconds? 💀 Would you throw the cat or just politely chuck the deuces? 📺 Watch Season 7 of The Real Life of Jo – Check out the playlist Drop a comment and let me know if I’m trippin’ or if this one just ain’t it.
